CANDIDACY FOR MAYOR
Attorney Andre D. Pierre will run for Mayor, City of North Miami
NORTH MIAMI- On Wednesday, November 13, 2008, Andre Dominique Pierre, an attorney and a prominent member of both the legal and Haitian-American community announced his candidacy for Mayor of North Miami. Attorney Pierre, a solo practitioner with the Law Offices of Andre D. Pierre, P.A. has practiced Criminal and Immigration Law for over ten years. Attorney Pierre has also been heavily involved in the community having served on the City of Miami Community Relations Board, the City of Miami Nominating Committee for the Civilian Investigative Panel, and the Charter Review Committee for the City of North Miami. Attorney Pierre is also a former Chairman of the Greater North Miami Chamber of Commerce and has served on the Executive Board for over six years. Additionally, Attorney Pierre is a former Vice-President of the Haitian Lawyers Association and is an adjunct member of the faculty at Barry University, where he teaches Immigration and Naturalization Law.
